What is the Moving Forward Project?
Y:Move On
Our Move On project supports under 30s with tenancy support for 3-12 months. This could be a first tenancy or a tenancy that a young person is struggling to maintain. Support workers can provide with essential 1-on-1 support, group sessions and workshops. We can also work with housing associations, landlords and communities to help improve the number of sustainable tenancies held by young people.
Our Move On project supports individuals under 30 who are starting or struggling to maintain a tenancy. Whether it’s a first tenancy or an existing one, we provide 3–12 months of tailored support, including:
- One-on-one guidance from support workers.
- Group sessions and workshops.
- Collaboration with housing associations, landlords, and local communities to create sustainable housing solutions for young people.
This programme helps young tenants build the skills and confidence they need to thrive while fostering stronger relationships between landlords and their communities.
