Today is the 25th birthday of the National Lottery and is a moment to celebrate the extraordinary impact The National Lottery has had on the UK.
People across the UK will post crossed finger selfies and pics on social media to help celebrate. This is our way of saying thank you to National Lottery players for their huge contribution to charities and community groups across the UK. National Lottery players for contributing around £30 million to charities and community groups every week.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund our New Beginnings Project at YMCA Blackburn assists the refugee & asylum community in Blackburn with Darwen to enable them to help each other to settle into life in the UK. Our Y:Youth Project is an open access youth project that delivers targeted outreach to some of the most deprived areas in Lancaster.
So, thank you National Lottery players, from everyone here at YMCA Fylde Coast, YMCA Blackburn and YMCA Lancaster #NationalLottery25
